Velvet hangers are much sturdier and last much longer than plastic ones. Plus – they prevent items from slipping off, which makes organizing that much easier.

This diffuser is not only a super cute addition to your home decor, it will also keep all your closet and clothes nice and fresh.

If you’re in need of a little extra storage or space, check out these super simple bins. Store sweaters, scarves, or socks in the summer, and bathing suits, sandals, and shorts in the winter.

What does a nude stiletto and a navy suit have in common? They are classic, timeless and always come in handy! I find classic pieces to be essential and always my go-to’s for everyday wear. These are the pieces I can constantly count on to never let me down and always make sure I look put together.

I like to add my own personality to my style and find my own distinct and comfortable way of dressing. When I am styling our clients and members or even teaching my styling team, I always make sure they understand the importance of basic, classic and timeless pieces. Asking yourself, does my “blank” go with my “blank.” Classics just never let down and always make every occasion work. Creating your own personal style needs to be unique to you and make you feel confident. We all know the feeling in us when we love that outfit we are wearing. Confidence is an energy. People can feel that when you walk in a room. Confidence all starts with what you wear and how you feel about yourself.

One thing we get asked a lot is, what are the top 5 things every wardrobe needs for both men and women. When we are working with clients, most of the time they are people starting over and looking to rebuild their wardrobes. Regardless of where you’re at with your wardrobe there are clothes I suggest you own in your closet if you don’t already. Here is the breakdown for men and for women.

Men’s Wardrobe

Tailoring fitting clothes – most important!

1. Custom Tailored Navy Suit

2. Custom White Button Up

3. Custom Navy Sportcoat

4. Dark Fitted Jeans

5. White cool, causal sneakers

Women’s Wardrobe

1. Black Leather Jacket

2. Black Fitted Jeans

3. Nude Stiletto

4. Cocktail Dress (any color but black is a must!)

5. White or Black Classic Blouse

Digitizing your wardrobe is all the rage when we meet with our members at #BREEJACOBY. We have built our own wardrobing technology that we are excited to launch to our members this year as a perk of joining. When people join our membership in 2020, they get a digitized wardrobe of everything they buy from us and we take images of what they own so they have a working wardrobe made just for them.

We realized that people usually wear 20-30% of their wardrobe and they need most help with how to wear the clothes they own. Does this sound like you? Well, when you do not have a stylist on our team working with you, it is so easy to continue buying things without editing out what you already own. Hence, why we always recommend a #BREEJACOBYClosetEdit before you continue to buy without editing out pieces. Imagine a closet full of things you love without repeating past purchases.

Our philosophy on buying new clothes is not to buy anything until you have edited your wardrobe out of things that you do not wear, that are not in style and whatever does not make you feel amazing.

Simplify your wardrobe by only buying things you LOVE. If it doesn’t make you feel your best, get rid of it. Donate the items and you’ll feel even better. If they are designer brand, you can also sell the items.

Once your closet is edited, you will make wiser purchasing decisions and then we can digitize what you own. Whoever said the Clueless closet was just meant for Cher?
